Edith M. Malone (Peaches)
August 30, 1959 – November 14, 2009
Edith M. Malone, 50 of Elkhart, IN passed away on Friday, November 14, 2009 in her, residence after an extended illness. Edith was born on Aug. 30, 1959 in Elkhart, IN. Edith will be greatly missed by her surviving family, she leaves to cherish her memory, her Step-Parents Cornell (Dell) Davis a loving companion (Larry Malone) and Jaida Malone her name sake. Two Sisters Diana Marshall of Amarillo TX, and J. Virginia Robinson, Elkhart, IN. Two brothers Kenneth (Lena) Banes, Landers Gills of Elkhart, IN. A very special sister Christine Bessant and her dear family of Ohio. And a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Bert Barnes.
Edith was a graduate of Carter Secretary School and was a secretary for several years at H.O.M.E.S Inc. she was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. She loved to read, cook and play bingo. She loved to be around all of her nieces and nephews; she was like a second mother to them.
Friends and family may call form 6 to 8 P.M. Friday November 20, 2009 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home 403 W. Franklin St. Elkhart, IN. Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday November 21, 2009 at the River of Life Church 2626 Prairie St. Elkhart, IN. Pastor Leonard and Janet Cook officiating Rev.
