Lyman K. Gross 88 of Cassopolis, Mich. passed away July 16, 2010 at 11:15 pm at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born to John F. Gross and Marjorie (Barkman) Gross on April 6, 1922. Lyman married Dessie I Reed on Jan. 4, 1947 in Casssopolis, Mich. and she passed away in Jan. of 1984. He then remarried to Mary Baker on June of 1984 in Elkhart, Ind. and she passed away in Jan. of 2003. Lyman was employed by Miles laboratory for 36 years then retired and continued to farm. Survivors include a son Marvin (Vickie) Gross of Cassopolis, Mich; one grandson Jeremy (Lisa) Gross; and one great-granddaughter Holly Gross. Preceded in death by his parents, both wifes, and a brother Emory B. Gross. Visitation will be Monday July 19, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dick Dunn officiating. Burial will be at rice cemetery.
