Carolyn Ann Sutton 52, of Elkhart died July 21, 2010 in her residence. She was born July 1, 1958 in Elkhart. Surviving a daughter Tilira M. Sutton of Indianapolis, IN, son Kacey J. Otterbridge of Elkhart, three grandchildren Dominique Small, Daylen Butler both of Indianapolis, IN, Kalijha Boothe of Elkhart, sisters Leslie Whitener of Pasadena, Ca; Angelic Whitener of South Bend, IN; Charlotte Roby, Cindy Hatfield, Verna Haliburton, Dawn Sutton, brothers Samuel J. Whitener, Eugene Sutton, Jerry Sutton all of Elkhart and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a grandson Devon Sutton, parents Samuel and Veretta Sutton Sr. and stepfather Howard James.
Carolyn was employed by Elkhart Community Schools for the past 15 years and was a 1976 graduate of Elkhart Central High School. She enjoyed singing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, no visitation.
