Wilhelmina E. Berzins 100, died at 12:25 A.M. Sunday at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen. She was born October 16, 1909 in Lativia to Martin and Tusnelda (Stepanov) Krauklis. She married Evalds Berzins, he preceded in death. Surviving are two daughters Dzidra (Rudolfs) Kalass of Bristol, IN; Biruta Everts of Shipshewana, IN, one son Aivars Berzins of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren, one brother Wilhelms Kraukles of Chicago, IL. Mrs. Berzins lived in California for 27 years returning to Shipshewana area in 1994. She was a member of the Latvian Church in Los Angeles, CA and a member of the choir which traveled all over the world. Family services will be held at a later date at the Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Covina Hills, California. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Feed the Children.
