Patricia E. Tom 76 of Elkhart, Indiana died at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Indiana July 9, 2010. She was born March 3, 1934 in Elkhart, Indiana to Marvin and Fannie (Harker) Cooper. She married Donald E. Tom October 5, 1963 in Elkhart, he survives. Also surviving is one son Christopher Tom of Miamisburg, Ohio, grandson Zaine Tom of McKinney, TX, brother Jack (Sharon) Cooper of Elkhart. A infant daughter Jill Ann, three sister Miriam Miller, Mary Cooper, Delores Degan and five brothers Charles, Marvin, Ernest, Larry and William Cooper preceded in death. Mrs. Tom was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was a volunteer in the church resale shop, she enjoyed gardening and being in the sun. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home where services will be held 10 A.M. Tuesday with burial in Rice Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice
